Like a window into the soul or a door into a quiet underwater escape, a little island in the middle of a vast ocean became inspiration.

Daily swimming sessions viewing the calm fluid momentum above the water and under the surface inspired this new series of artwork. This sanctuary of natural wonder fully populated with the easy movement of vivid colors and patterns created a deeply calming feeling of weightlessness as I became one with the  peaceful momentum of flow and tranquility. It was a chance to unplug and be immersed in a quiet mesmerizing world to simply observe and emerge renewed.

In the awe of nature's raw beauty we find a connection to the purest expressions of life. When we make time and space to experience the natural world slowing down enough to breathe and really see it's majesty we come home to a place we were made for. Every work of art in this series is inspired by that renewing experience and feeling of peaceful weightless tranquility.
