Printmaking Process

My work begins with photographs and drawings inspired by nature that are used to create intriguing design combinations. The designs become original fine art prints through various printmaking methods including intaglio, relief, and serigraph.

All prints are made by hand and with an etching press. Each print is an individual creation every time and is truly one of a kind even if it is a part of a printed edition. The simplicity and the power of the human touch working to create beauty makes the work grounded in the creative expression of artistic tradition. To be handmade is special because the artist literally gives a part of themselves to their work and the work lives on inspiring those who enjoy it.

My printmaking process is a new adventure of creative expression and discovery bringing awareness to the need to preserve what is loved and admired in the natural world. Fine Art is more than just decor. Our living and work spaces directly influence our daily lives and well being. Living with rare, unique, original art in these spaces can give us a moment to pause and refocus inspiring individual creativity in life and work.

The Natural World is a Living Wonder and if a Work of Art Makes a Lasting Impression then it MUST Live with You!
